Description:
Are you passionate about affordable housing, marketing, or public outreach? Join the CalHFA Marketing & Communications Division as a Student Assistant! In this role, you will support efforts to promote CalHFA’s programs, assist with event coordination, and gain hands-on experience in public sector communications.
Responsibilities:
Assist with internal and external communication efforts for CalHFA’s Single Family and Multifamily lending programs
Support event coordination, including printing, assembling, and packaging materials
Draft letters, conduct research, and help maintain marketing materials
Manage tracking documents and event planning logistics using Microsoft Office
Perform occasional physical tasks like lifting boxes or setting up event tables
Minimum Qualifications:
Proof of current enrollment or application to an undergraduate college or university program.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Willingness to perform light physical tasks when needed
Desirable Skills:
Interest in marketing, event planning, or public outreach
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
