BASIC FUNCTION:   

      

The Academic Center for Excellence offers comprehensive academic advising, major and career exploration services and programs, including but not limited to first- and second-year advising, career education services, graduation clearance, academic recovery program and an array of retention initiatives. 

SUPERVISORY

AUTHORITY:                      N/A

NATURE AND SCOPE:    

Internal contacts include senior administrators, faculty, students and staff. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  

Work closely with ACE staff in facilitating academic workshops, assist students with scheduling appointments, and the daily operations of the ACE Tutoring Center. 

 

Maintain a high level of visibility, approachability, and enthusiasm at all times

 

Provide administrative office support including, but not limited to answering phones, scanning/copying, call campaigns and front desk assistance.

 

Maintain current knowledge of campus resources, university procedures, rules and regulations, and other student services.

 

Create and respond to communications as well as meet with assigned group/major community of students regularly during the fall, spring and summer semesters via Microsoft Teams.

 

Assist with creating marketing materials and other publications, such as flyers, informational videos, and social media.

Other duties as assigned.
