Admissions Fellow- Office of Undergraduate Admissions (FWS)
Job Overview:
The Federal Work-Study Admissions Fellow will support the Office of Undergraduate Admissions with various administrative tasks and assist with recruitment efforts. This role may involve some travel and is a great opportunity to develop valuable skills in public speaking, event participation, customer service, marketing, project management, networking, and higher education outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and organizing materials for Admissions staff.
- Represent the Admissions Office with professionalism and courtesy in all settings, both virtual and in-person.
- Contribute to Bison Connect outreach efforts, helping foster connections with prospective students.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations in the Admissions Office.
Qualifications:
- Must be a current undergraduate student eligible for Federal Work-Study.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking and delivering presentations to groups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and maintain a professional attitude.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for recruitment events.
- Students from any major are encouraged to apply, including political science, business, engineering, nursing, biology, and computer science.
- Professional demeanor and a customer-service-focused mindset.
- Must have a Real ID or passport for airport travel.
