MergeWorks Fellowship – M&A, Strategy, and AI Systems (Remote | 3-Month Program)

About the Fellowship:
The MergeWorks Fellowship is a 3-month, hands-on program built for students who learn by doing. Fellows will gain real-world experience in mid-market M&A (mergers and acquisitions), business growth strategy, and AI-driven systems,  all while working directly with the MergeWorks team and portfolio companies.

The first two weeks focus on training and exploration,  giving you the opportunity to rotate through each core area before selecting your focus track.

You’ll explore:
⚙️ Deal Sourcing & Analysis – Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities, conduct company research, and assist in financial modeling.
🎥 Content Creation & Strategy – Develop business-focused media assets, branding materials, and marketing strategies for real companies.
🧠 Research & Industry Insights – Analyze market trends, industry data, and competitor landscapes to inform growth and acquisition strategies.
🤖 AI Systems & Automation – Learn how to build and use AI tools to streamline workflows and optimize operations.

After training:
You’ll specialize in one focus area and work directly on live projects that shape the future of mid-sized businesses across multiple industries.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
✅ No prior M&A experience required,  training is provided
