2026 Summer Internship, Origination

JOB FUNCTION

Participants in our Summer internship program will be individually mentored from members of the Origination team and have direct, hands-on exposure related to various functions in Origination and specific to this person’s mentor’s day-to-day role. Interns are encouraged to listen in on weekly investment committee meetings and attend our weekly speaker series to gain a comprehensive view of Riverside’s functions and collaborative culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks the Intern can expect, but are not limited to, include:

  • Writing new deal screening memos
  • Conducting industry and market research to augment new deal analysis, and
  • Assisting in other research and analysis projects for the team.  

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate students graduating in 2027 or 2028
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • A critical, creative mind for research
  • Superior writing and analytical abilities
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent work ethic and positive “can do” attitude
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking ability, and dependability
  • Demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities
  • Professional demeanor
  • Passion for learning and teamwork
  • Strong consideration will be given to candidates with prior experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or equity research

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

Dates: Start and end dates are negotiable between June 2026 and August 2026. We expect a 10-week commitment from students

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Location: NYC or CLE
