Job Title: Sports Medicine Student Aide 

Division: Sports Medicine  

Department: Student Athlete Health, Wellness and Performance  

Duties and Responsibilities  

Assist with all treatment and rehabilitation sessions as training allows  

Assist with morning set up of athletic training room  

Responsible for daily cleaning of athletic training room, doctors office, wet areas, and field  

Assist in pre-practice taping  

Assist athletic training staff with inventory  

Practice set up and break down  

Assist with maintaining daily treatment log  

Assist athletic training staff with making sure all coolers and refrigerators are cleaned, maintained, and stocked. When appropriate.  

Responsible for stocking of all practice supplies  

Maintain a clean and safe athletic training room at all times, as well as related areas  

Responsible for restocking all materials on a daily basis in the athletic training room  

Daily cleaning and maintenance of all practice supplies  

Any additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Training Staff  

General Student Responsibilities  

Set-up camp operations under staff ATC’s guidelines  

Maintain athletic training room  

Maintain storage room  

Maintain and clean gator  

Pack travel trunks and travel equipment  

Maintain Gatorade coolers and water caddies  

Fulfill additional duties as assigned  

Complete administrative duties  

Treatment Responsibilities  

Make treatment/practice ice bags  

Make ice cups  

Stock towels  

Prepare modalities  

Assist in treatments  

Log treatments  

Restock supplies  

Clean and maintain athletic training room
