Research Assistant Intern (Work-Study Only)

Note: This position is only open to students who qualify for federal or state work-study.

 

As a Research Assistant Intern at Folio, you will support research efforts focused on understanding how students access work opportunities and how Folio’s programs improve career outcomes. You will assist with data collection, literature reviews, analysis, and the preparation of internal reports that guide decision making across the organization.

This role is ideal for students studying data science, economics, sociology, public policy, education, or related fields who want hands-on experience applying research methods to real-world projects.

 

What You’ll Do

Assist with collecting, cleaning, and organizing research and survey data.

Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings.

Help draft research briefs, internal memos, and presentation materials.

Support survey design, data validation, and participant outreach.

Collaborate with the product, data, and operations teams to interpret research insights.

Qualifications

Must be eligible for federal or state work-study funding.
