Accountant - Financial Affairs and Human Resources

Summary of Job Duties:
The Accountant performs entry of all internal and external requisitions, spend authorizations, expense reports, accounting adjustments, and reconciles pcard and tcard charges for all GSIE cost centers; reviews accounting transactions to ensure proper methods are used in accordance with university and state regulations; performs receiving entries and accounts payable functions for all GSIE cost centers; assists in developing new accounting procedures to resolve data processing problems; communicates regularly with college staff, deans, internal and external vendors concerning financial affairs.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree
Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications.
At least one year of experience in accounting or a related field
Salary Information:
$36,300 - $40,000
