We are now hiring Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Board Certified Behavior Analyst Assistants (BCaBA), and Behavioral Therapists in Montgomery County (MD), Arlington County (VA), Alexandria County (VA) and Washington DC!

Essential Functions:

  • Collect and record data on client behaviors during therapy sessions to monitor the progress of a treatment plan
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency in treatment approach
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
  • Work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans that address communication, behavior needs, daily living skills, executive functioning skills, and social skills.

Schedule and Location:

We have 2 positions open in NORTHERN VIRGINIA

EVENING Sessions (ANNANDALE & WEST SPRINGFIELD VA)

Must have availability 3:30PM-6:30PM Monday-Friday; schedule assigned based on client need - sessions typically occur in the natural environment (in the client's home, community, and/or school).  Sessions typically occur 5 days per week for 2-3 hours.

We have 1 position open in WASHINGTON DC

EVENING Sessions (WASHINGTON DC)

Must have availability 3:30PM-6:30PM Monday-Friday; schedule assigned based on client need - sessions typically occur in the natural environment (in the client's home, community, and/or school).  Sessions typically occur 5 days per week for 2-3 hours.

We have 2 positions open in ROCKVILLE MD

EVENING Sessions (WASHINGTON DC)

Must have availability 3:30PM-6:30PM Monday-Friday; schedule assigned based on client need - sessions typically occur in the natural environment (in the client's home, community, and/or school).  Sessions typically occur 5 days per week for 2-3 hours.

Compensation:

  • Starting at $23.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications
  • Quarterly bonus available based on performance ($500 quarterly bonus potential!)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred
  • Experience with special education services and/or delivery of ABA therapy is strongly preferred
  • Experience in working with children or adults with autism or other developmental disabilities is strongly preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • First Aid/CPR certification is required
  • 1 year experience working with children or adults with autism or other developmental disabilities is strongly preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Patience, compassion and the desire to help children and adults with autism achieve their goals
  • Genuine desire to learn about Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
  • Must have valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a state and FBI background check, and state child abuse clearance
  • Have knowledge of use of modern technology, i.e. PC, Mac, iPad or other tablets. Training will be provided on the systems used.
  • Must be able to obtain RBT certification within 90 days of employment (we will support you with this!)

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and move for 100% of the day
  • Use of hearing, hands and eyes 100% of the workday
  • Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally during the work day
  • Stamina and ability to work all assigned hours
  • Ability to move freely, quickly and frequently from a sitting (on the floor or in a chair) to standing position
