Researcher: Elementary Reading Instruction
We seek 1-2 students interested in becoming elementary school reading education specialists/teachers who focus on reading instruction and want to gain real-world insights from our team or reading specialists, has a desire to assist with researching various strategies for teaching (science of reading; explicit phonics, fluency practice, and comprehension strategies; Orton Gillingham, and more), and helping with various aspects of our research process.
Students must be awarded Federal Work Study from Howard University or be willing to work as a volunteer.
