Production Welder
PRIMARY DUTIES:
<>PRODUCTION:
Efficiently fabricate various products and component parts.
Use welders and other shop equipment to effect the production of quality parts and finished products.
Establish and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Safely lift and carry heavy loads, up to 75lbs, unassisted.
Standing for long periods of time.
Turning the head and torso, bending, reaching, flexing the arms and legs are frequently required.
Bending the wrists and use of the hands to use equipment are frequently required.
Must have a good sense of spatial awareness and balance.
Regularly maintain & otherwise care for your work-station(s) as well as the equipment and tools provided for your use.
Coordinate with management and co-workers to develop, document, and maintain both accurate & consistent records of products and procedures.
Take note of & communicate to management regarding levels of raw materials and supplies to ensure continued shop productivity.
Observe and analyze the challenges experienced within the shop and work with management to address them.
Observe and analyze potential opportunities for growth & improvement and work with management to take advantage of them.
Keep track of your work and produce a daily report of your completed production for management.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
<>CUSTOMER RELATIONS:
Occasionally meet & greet customers who stop in at the shop and help with taking orders.
May potentially call some customers to communicate regarding their orders.
Occasionally load orders for customers.

Maintain and encourage a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
Share your valuable skills and experiences with coworkers.
Observe and identify opportunities to improve workplace safety and work with management to support and implement safe procedures and environmental conditions.
Occasionally help out with other various duties which may arise (e.g. unload trucks, maintain business property, and general “housekeeping”)
<>OTHER SKILLS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate MIG welders.
Occasionally operate arc welders.
Operate Forklifts, Skid-Steers, and similar heavy equipment.
Occasionally operate various saws, ironworker, and similar equipment.
Occasionally operate company vehicle and haul materials/equipment with company trailer.
