Undergraduate Research Assistant
We are seeking a motivated undergraduate intern to support research in agricultural robotics, focusing on the development of intelligent systems for precision farming. The intern will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to design, prototype, and evaluate robotic solutions for tasks such as crop monitoring, automated harvesting, weed detection, and field navigation. Responsibilities include assisting with sensor integration (e.g., cameras, LiDAR), collecting and analyzing field data, and implementing algorithms for perception and control using tools such as Python and ROS. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, with strong programming skills and an interest in robotics, machine learning, or agricultural applications. Experience with embedded systems, computer vision, or hands-on robotics projects is a plus but not required.
