On Call Pool Server
About the role
At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, Pool Servers are responsible for arranging seating areas, taking/serving food and beverage orders, and being knowledgeable about all current menu options and beverage lists, and efficiently clearing and restocking items to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for our owners and guests.
What you will do:
- Conduct all opening and closing procedures.
- Wipe down, set up and move all pool deck equipment, when necessary.
- Pick up, stock/restock, and drop off towels, juices, fruits, and other items or amenities needed in the area to provide guests with a level of service in keeping with Four Seasons standards.
- Assist owners and guests with seating, towels, amenities and food and beverage service.
- Describe the selection of menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the point-of-sales system; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
- Respond properly in any Residence Club emergency or safety situation.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Residence Club management and staff.
What you bring:
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Previous food and beverage experience, preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- San Diego County Food Handlers card (not required upon hire) and Responsible Beverage Service certification
- Driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role, a valid California Driver's License is necessary

- On Call (hours based on business volume)
