Fall 2026 Operations Management Intern
The Operations Management Intern will work with the Operations departments to help the development and management of the National office and CAIR chapters nationwide. The position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with the Operations Manager. Students will gain an understanding of issues affecting the Muslim community in addition to many aspects of nonprofit management.
*Note* For Fall 2026 Semester Applicants: CAIR National will be recruiting and accepting applicants with the understanding that the positions will be conducted on a hybrid basis, with some in person opportunities but most work being done remotely. All applicants will be considered on an equal basis whether they are in DC or not.

- Assist with initiatives to build and expand the capacity of CAIR National in
- Advocacy
- Fundraising
- Governance
- Programming
- Operations
- Community Outreach
- Youth Development
- Assist with project development and management
- Develop training materials & standard operations procedures
- Assist with Board outreach & coordination
- Assist with management of internship program & volunteer program
- Provide administrative support and organization of department activities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong research and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work well in teams
- Detail-oriented and creative; self-starter and can work under minimum supervision
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite
Requirements:
- Freshman status (or greater) at an accredited university is preferred
- A minimum of 10 hours/week with flexible schedule
