PART-TIME APE COACH / ADAPTED PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER
$50 Per Hour | Flexible Schedule | In-Person & Virtual Support

EMH Sports is seeking passionate and dedicated Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Teachers to join our growing team serving students throughout California.

This is a flexible part-time position that allows instructors to set schedules based on their availability and student needs.

We are looking for educators committed to helping students with disabilities build confidence, physical skills, coordination, and lifelong wellness through movement and individualized instruction.

Qualifications

• Valid California Teaching Credential with Adapted PE Authorization

(or currently in process)

• Special Education Teachers encouraged to apply
• Experience supporting IEP goals and documentation preferred
• Ability to participate in IEP meetings and communicate professionally with families and educational teams
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to support both in-person and virtual student instruction as needed
• Full school-year availability preferred

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year teaching experience
• 1+ year special education or adaptive PE experience
• Experience working with students with autism, developmental delays, orthopedic impairments, and other diverse learning needs
• Ability to adapt activities and instruction based on individual student abilities
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
