Behavior Technician
Pavo Behavioral Therapy is a small, parent-owned company, providing high-quality behavior analytic interventions to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
Behavior Technicians (BTs) in Allegan County will be primarlily working in client homes, meaning traveling to various locations within Allegan County will be necessary. BTs are responsible for implementing behavior analytic interventions, collecting data, writing progress notes, attending trainings and staff meetings, collaborating with families and other professionals, and other duties as assigned by Pavo staff.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior analytic interventions to individuals diagnosed with autism in the clinic and/or at client home.
- Work collaboratively with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to follow clients’ individualized treatment plans.
- Record data and report progress on client performance and behaviors.
- Maintain client dignity and confidentiality.
- Participate in training on an ongoing basis and maintain essential certifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 10 hours/week availability (between 8am-6pm, M-F).
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Desired Qualifications
- Some experience working with children.
- Some coursework in behavior analytic concepts and principles.
- Some experience providing behavior analytic interventions to individuals with autism.
- First aid/CPR certification.
