Quality Inspector

NOW HIRING: ENTRY-LEVEL QUALITY INSPECTORS Manchester, CT $19–22/hr + Shift Differentials

Great opportunity for students, recent grads, or anyone with hands-on manufacturing, machining, engineering technology, or technical training experience.

What You’ll Do

Join a plastics manufacturing team performing product inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Responsibilities include:

· Inspect finished products for defects, measurements, and functionality

· Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other hand tools

· Perform visual inspections of small parts using microscopes or inspection equipment

· Record inspection results in spreadsheets or quality systems

· Identify quality issues and communicate them to production teams

· Help quarantine or contain non-conforming product when needed

· Maintain organized workstations and retained product samples

What We’re Looking For

This is a great fit for students or recent graduates in:

· Manufacturing Technology

· Engineering Technology

· Precision Machining / CNC Programs

· Quality / Industrial Technology

· Mechanical Technology

Helpful experience includes:

· Basic use of calipers and micrometers

· Reading simple blueprints or engineering drawings

· Basic computer/data entry skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Manufacturing, machining, lab, or technical coursework experience

No extensive quality inspection background required — training available for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude.

Shift Options

Weekday Shifts

· 2nd Shift (Green Shift): Mon–Thurs | 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM | 10% Shift Differential

· 3rd Shift (Blue Shift): Tues–Fri | 11:30 PM – 10:00 AM | 10% Shift Differential

Weekend Split Shifts

· Green Weekend Shift: Fri–Sun | 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM | 25% Shift Differential

· Blue Weekend Shift: Sat–Mon | 11:30 PM – 11:30 AM | 25% Shift Differential
