Film Marketing Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- 📣 Film Marketing — Develop and execute social media content to promote the film across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.); grow audience awareness and engagement
- 🌐 Website Management — Update and maintain www.womenoffaithfilm.com, keeping content current, fresh, and impactful
- 👩🏾🤝👩🏽 Talent & Participant Liaison — Serve as the primary point of contact with the women featured in the film; coordinate their availability for panel discussions, screenings, and speaking engagements
- 📅 Scheduling & Coordination — Manage calendars and confirm logistics for panel discussions, interviews, and public appearances
- 🎗️ Conference Planning — Assist in the planning and organization of the Black Women Child Abuse Conference (April 2027), including logistics, communications, outreach, and event coordination
- 🤝 Weekly Meetings — Participate in weekly team check-ins to report progress and align on priorities
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college program in Film, Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field
- Deep respect for and sensitivity to survivors of trauma and abuse
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented — able to manage multiple tasks and follow through consistently
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Active user of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
Bonus Points:
- Experience with website editing (Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, or similar)
- Background in event planning or coordination
- Passion for documentary film, advocacy, or community healing work
- Experience with Canva or other content creation tools
- Connection to or understanding of faith-based communities
