Transition Teacher
Transition Teacher (Ages 2-3 Years)
Trinity Day School is seeking a passionate, dependable, and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our older preschool classroom serving children ages 2 to 3 years old. We are looking for an educator who is enthusiastic about early childhood development, enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, and values strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of children
- Assisting with meal preparation and classroom routines
- Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
- Preparing and distributing a monthly classroom newsletter
- Working collaboratively as part of a teaching team
- Communicating professionally with families and staff
- Participating in ongoing professional development and training
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Early Childhood Education coursework or degree preferred
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills
- Fingerprinting and required background checks must be completed upon hire
