Prompt Engineer

About the role

Design, test, and refine the prompts and instructions that power Saroot Labs' AI agents — from computer-use workflows to 3D world generation. You'll turn product requirements into reliable LLM behavior, build evaluation frameworks, and iterate until outputs meet production quality.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain prompts, system instructions, and tool-use patterns for AI agents
  • Build evaluation sets and rubrics to measure output quality across tasks and edge cases
  • Iterate on prompts based on production failures, user feedback, and quality reviews
  • Document prompt patterns, best practices, and version changes for the team
  • Collaborate with engineers and operators to ship prompt improvements into live workflows
