Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team at our Tampa location. The ideal candidate will need to speak Spanish (not mandatory) and provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. The FNP will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide triage services to prioritize patient care based on urgency.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, wellness strategies, and disease prevention.
• Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (ECW).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex needs.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to effectively triage patients based on clinical judgment.
• Knowledge of medicare, HMO's, and PPO insurances.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly ECW.
• Excellent communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on treating the whole patient.
