Part-time P.E. Teacher
Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated P.E. Teacher to join our team. This will be a part-time position (approximately 10-12 hours a week). The ideal candidate will have a personal relationship with and love for Christ, be committed to Black Hills Christian Academy's mission, and incorporate its principles into their teaching practices. Additionally, the ideal candidate will foster a supportive classroom environment, plan engaging lessons, and help students achieve their full potential with excellence in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our mission and state standards.
- Create a positive and encouraging environment where students learn to love, appreciate, and care for the bodies God has given them.
- Biblically integrate Christian values and teachings into daily lessons and activities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to support student growth and development.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and ongoing training to stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Valid teaching certification.
- Demonstrates good personal physical fitness and healthy habits.
- Strong commitment to Christian education and the mission of Black Hills Christian Academy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
