Part-Time Music Teacher

Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive music curricula tailored to students’ ages and abilities, incorporating elements of singing, instrument playing, and movement.
  • Lead engaging classroom sessions that promote active participation, creativity, and enjoyment of music and dance activities.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and motivating learning environment.
  • Plan and prepare lesson materials in advance, including activities related to theater, ballet, dancing, or other performing arts.
  • Provide individualized tutoring and support for students with varying learning needs, including those in early childhood education or special education programs.
  • Integrate a Biblical worldview and teach students through this lens.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in teaching music or related arts in classroom or workshop settings.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
  • Experience working with children across different age groups
  • Familiarity with behavior management strategies
  • Ability to engage students through dynamic instruction
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering creativity in learners of all backgrounds.
  • Bachelor's degree or in final year of pursuing a Bachelor's degree in relative area.
