Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive music curricula tailored to students’ ages and abilities, incorporating elements of singing, instrument playing, and movement.
- Lead engaging classroom sessions that promote active participation, creativity, and enjoyment of music and dance activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and motivating learning environment.
- Plan and prepare lesson materials in advance, including activities related to theater, ballet, dancing, or other performing arts.
- Provide individualized tutoring and support for students with varying learning needs, including those in early childhood education or special education programs.
- Integrate a Biblical worldview and teach students through this lens.
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching music or related arts in classroom or workshop settings.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with children across different age groups
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies
- Ability to engage students through dynamic instruction
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering creativity in learners of all backgrounds.
- Bachelor's degree or in final year of pursuing a Bachelor's degree in relative area.
