Short-Form Video Creator - Own Our TikTok & Instagram (Part-Time, Phoenix AI Startup)
I'm the founder of VetGPT, an AI pet health app growing out of Phoenix. I'm hiring one student or early-career creator to own our real-footage video production and be the publishing and community lead for our whole short-form presence. You'll work alongside an AI content pipeline that handles volume and analytics; you handle everything that needs human taste and a human face.
What you'll own:
- Film with me 1-2x per month (me, my dogs, app screen recordings, about 2-3 hours per session)
- Edit that footage into 15-20 vertical TikToks/Reels per month
- Blend real footage with AI-generated assets from our existing creative pipeline
- Post everything: scheduling, trending sounds, captions, hashtags
- Cross-post to YouTube Shorts (channel is live; near-zero extra work)
- Run community engagement: replying to comments, keeping the account alive between posts
- See real analytics every week and help decide what we make more of
What I need from you:
- Confident iPhone video shooter
- Fast and genuinely good in CapCut, Premiere, or Final Cut
- You understand what makes short-form work in 2026 (sounds, hooks, pacing)
- Comfortable with AI creative tools, or eager to learn fast. You'll get full access to our stack: Gemini Ultra (Flow + Nano Banana image generation) and Higgsfield, plus our tested prompt library.
- Pet person is a plus
- No degree or “marketing experience” required. If you've edited 300 TikToks for your own account, that counts more than any internship.
Terms:
- ~12 hrs/week at $20/hr
- Mostly remote; filming sessions in Phoenix
- Flexible around your class schedule
- Hours and pay grow as the company grows
- Paid test edit ($50) is part of the interview
