Salesforce Developer
Responsibilities
- The Client contract Salesforce Solution Engineer to design and deliver end‑to‑end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud
- This role supports mission‑critical public‑sector programs across case management, licensing, service operations, and related workflows
- The position ensures all solutions align with program objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and long‑term platform strategy while leveraging both declarative and programmatic capabilities to build scalable, maintainable systems
- Technical leadership: Establish development standards, mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and promote consistent high standards across teams
- Design and engineering: Lead integration designs, blueprinting and configuration strategies
- Development: Develop Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and system integrations following established engineering practices and platform governance
- Discovery and requirements: Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and program stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend best‑fit approaches
- Release management readiness: Review Salesforce Spring, Summer, and Winter release notes to identify breaking changes, deprecations, new settings, and feature impacts
- Assess platform updates affect existing systems and integrations
- Coordination and communication: Collaborate with vendors, product owners, administrators, QA teams, and business stakeholders to plan and execute required updates and deliverables
- AI-enablement: Apply AI‑driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions, including identifying practical use cases, incorporating intelligent automation, and ensuring responsible and compliant use of emerging technologies
