Respite and/or DLS Provider (In-home in Waukesha, WI)
Christian Servants Home Care is seeking a dedicated provider to offer in-home supportive companionship, supervision, encouragement of independence, and participation in preferred activities to children with special needs in Waukesha County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive companionship and supervision to child
- Encourage independence and positive routines
- Participate in activities such as arts, crafts, games, reading, etc.
- Offer gentle reminders and prompts for personal care and daily tasks
- Foster a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with children or in a caregiving role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly dependable, punctual, and professional
- Compassionate, patient, and motivated to make a difference
- Must complete a background check
Schedule: After school hours (2-3 hour shifts) Flexible Schedule!
