This position serves as the recognized resource for digital and print marketing for the Student Scholarships, Grants and Outreach (SSGO) division. This position develops annual marketing plans consisting of social media, website, electronic mail communications, and publications. Responsibilities include reviewing all marketing material for ADA compliance, creating and posting social media content following State of Michigan (SOM) Social Media Standards and Brand Guidelines, and SOM Social Media Styles Guidelines. Complete quarterly and annual Social Media Metric reports as required.

Assist with coordinating marketing efforts to raise awareness of SSGO services by assisting with public relations projects, attending events, disseminating informational material, and scheduling and making presentations throughout the state to promote State financial aid programs and financial literacy initiatives. In addition, conduct surveys to research, collect, track, consolidate, analyze, and evaluate data for customer satisfaction for website, publications, and other marketing tools.
