Base Shop Coordinator

Job Title:  Base Shop Coordinator

Overview: As a Base Shop Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our base shop facility. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily activities, coordinating schedules, managing inventory, and fostering a positive work environment for our team. You will be a central point of contact for both internal staff and external stakeholders, ensuring all tasks are completed with precision and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities:

Daily Operations Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities within the base shop, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Coordinate schedules for shop personnel, assigning tasks and projects as needed.
  • Monitor workflow and address any issues or delays promptly to maintain productivity.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with procurement to source materials and negotiate favorable pricing agreements.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Address any quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Provide guidance and support to shop personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development to enhance team capabilities.

Compliance:

  • Enforce procedures to ensure a cooperative working environment for all staff.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.
  • Manage client profiles and assist agents with client relationship management. 

Customer Service:

  • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and requests, providing timely and courteous assistance.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints effectively, striving to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote repeat business and loyalty.

Qualifications:.

  • Exhibits leadership in client support and customer success.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must pass a State Life Proucer Exam and hold a valid license
