Office Assistant - Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (FWS)
As an office assistant, the individual will be responsible for:
- Provide administrative support to senior leaders including email correspondence, and generation and distribution of memos, letters, spreadsheets and forms
- Report to the administrative lead or office manager for daily updates, accomplishments, and any issues requiring attention
- Coordinate and assist with event planning tasks, such as scheduling meetings, booking venues, arranging catering, and managing event logistics
- Maintain a filing system, contact database, employee list, inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized office environment
- Provide project coordination support, including organizing and maintaining project files, tracking deadlines, and assisting with project documentation. Copies and stores important documents and records
- Assist in planning new faculty orientation
- Handle expense reporting, invoicing, and basic accounting tasks
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail at all times
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excell, PowerPoint
