Social Media and Marketing Specialist
Title: Social Media & Marketing Specialist (Intern)
Overview:
Aiden Anthony LLC is seeking a creative and strategic social media intern to help amplify our mission of advancing equity and justice through culturally affirming consulting, training, and policy work. This role is ideal for someone passionate about using digital storytelling to drive cultural, narrative, and systems change. The intern will support content creation, social media strategy, and audience engagement to expand our reach and impact.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and schedule engaging, culturally affirming content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Research and implement strategies that elevate equity-focused conversations in housing, social services, and community transformation
- Create graphics, short videos, and other multimedia content to highlight the work of Aiden Anthony LLC
- Help design and execute marketing campaigns for services, events, and initiatives
- Track analytics and engagement metrics to refine strategy and effectiveness
- Assist in developing a brand-aligned content calendar that integrates storytelling, education, and advocacy
- Stay updated on trends in racial equity, social justice, and digital organizing
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of narrative strategy and digital activism
- Experience in social media management, branding, or digital marketing
- Knowledge of Black history, housing justice, social impact work, and systems change is a plus
- Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills
- Familiarity with Canva, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or similar digital tools
- Ability to work independently and creatively bring a vision to life
- Passionate about equity, justice, and shifting narratives through media
Location: Remote or Hybrid
Hours: 10-20 hours per week (flexible schedule)
