Internship in Marketing and Operations

She,Imprints is an organization designed to transform the world through an emphasis on the holistic development and radical healing of women and girls of the Global Majority. The mission of She, Imprints is to alleviate barriers that impede women and girls of color from being able to live in and on purpose. Such barriers include: gender discrimination, racism, sexism, mental health, aspects of capitalism that impede radical self care, systemic oppression and educational inequity. We serve at the intersection of wellness and justice for women and girls of the global majority.
Description of Internship:
As a small, Black woman owned firm, we are eager to expand our presence and work in order to increase racial equity, justice and wellness for women and girls of the global majority. As our work continues to expand, we are seeking interns to support in increasing our effectiveness in the areas of marketing/outreach and operations. We are seeking interns who can support the firm with the following:
(Social Media, Marketing & Outreach)
- Devise and support implementation of an outreach and marketing strategy/plan
- Provide/maintain outreach to potential clients
- Manage and create content for social media platforms
- Learn about existing marketing and outreach strategies and provide feedback based on levels of expertise
- Support with administrative tasks as needed
- Design marketing and outreach materials, such as email marketing content, flyers, and press releases
(Operations Intern)
- Supports with administrative and operational tasks
- Compile research around grants related to the mission of the firm in order to advance our work
- Writing, Editing, Review & Compiling Written Materials
- Create systems and processes for managing business/organizational flow
Our ideal candidate:
- Has expertise and profound interest in strategic communication, outreach and marketing
- Has interest or some experience working with small businesses
- Is deeply committed to and interested in racial, social and intersectional justice
- Is deeply committed to and interested in wellness, justice and advocacy for women and girls of color
- Possesses strong written, verbal and design skills
- Is familiar with and eager to engage with social media and other marketing platforms
- Feels confident sharing feedback, suggestions and ideas around strategic communication, marketing and outreach
- Can adhere to timelines/deadlines
- Is eager to support a growing business
- Is deeply organized
- Not afraid to ask questions
- Is seeking opportunities to learn grow and contribute
